Carson, poor kid, is basically just That Guy who is head-over-heels in love with Reis. He's a very poor judge of character.
He's actually incredibly sweet, slightly resentful (as in good at holding grudges) (but not good at figuring out what to hold a grudge against), and very handy. Again, I just dump him in whatever the latest AU I've made is, so he's been everything from an art student to a self-made mechanic to a bartender. (I like him as a bartender. And a barista. Though Reis was the barista in that one. I think Carson was a cop? Oh jesus.)
He and Reis are pretty on-again-off-again, considering how flighty she is and his penchant for wanting something she can't give him. He's more in love with the idea of being in love with her than actually in love with her. It's a vicious cycle. (She also beats him up to teach him this sometimes.) (He was a serial killer once? What's wrong with me.)
Again, have fun. Zombie apocalypse? Go for it. He'd use a wrench and a pistol. Cop? Totally. Bumbling. Superhero? The dorky Spiderman kind. If you have an idea, run it by me. I'll probably make it canon (in some universe).
Because I don't have a lot of art of him, I'll just tell you how I imagine him. Sort of a mocha skin tone (maybe a bit lighter), dark brown hair that sticks up sort of all over the place, and dark brown almost black eyes. Hawk-like nose, loose, comfy clothes. That's pretty much it. I DUNNO. The last ref in the gallery is 100% my fave. LOOK AT HIM. HE'S SO ADORABLE.

NOW FEATURING the initial concept of Carson! Obviously he's changed a whole lot from this nerd right here, but, you know. Same sort of personality, really. Also why is he holding a wrench AND wearing a welding mask? The world may never know. (I was taking a welding class at the time. And wrenches are cool. That's the secret.)
